FIP- AFPLP webinar "Formação Farmacêutica na África Subsariana"

This event is part of the cycle of joint webinars of the Association of Pharmacists of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (AFPLP) and the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), called “Challenges and Opportunities for the Pharmaceutical Profession in the Lusophone Space”.

FIP has been promoting a program in the area of pharmaceutical training that includes the project to harmonize and strengthen pharmaceutical training in Sub-Saharan Africa, the establishment of an African association of pharmacy schools, and the development of a pharmaceutical workforce based on skills that respond to to the needs of each country.

Therefore, this event is organized to bring this initiative closer to the pharmaceutical science courses in Portuguese-speaking African countries.

The event will be moderated by the President of AFPLP, Mateus Fernandes, and the speaker representing FIP is Arinola E. Joda - Assistant Secretary General/Editor in Chief of the African Pharmaceutical Forum (APF), and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

The sharing of national experiences will be in charge of Wison Aniba, Coordinator of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Course at the Piaget University of Angola, Dilson Pereira, Vice-Rector of the Piaget University of Cape Verde, and Saquina Rugunate, Coordinator of the Pharmacy Course at ISCTEM in Mozambique.
