Enabling pharmaceutical education transformation: A focus on the WHO regions

Introducing a new digital webinar series, titled “Enabling pharmaceutical education transformation: A focus on the WHO regions.”

This webinar series aims to delve into the evolution of pharmaceutical education within the WHO regions. Recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all solution due to the diverse educational needs in different countries and regions, it has become imperative to drive global and regional transformation in pharmaceutical education. This transformation will be achieved through the establishment of FIP-UNESCO UNITWIN regional centres for excellence, all while addressing the FIP Development goals by harnessing education as a powerful tool. The process will then extend to a national level, tailoring educational strategies to each country’s specific requirements.

The webinar series will showcase the value of an integrated approach to research, teaching, and community engagement while enabling the launch of the FIP-UNESCO UNITWIN Centre for Excellence across all regions, fostering collaboration, networking, and educational developments. Its overarching goal is to ensure that the pharmaceutical workforce is not only fit-for-purpose but also capable of adapting to the ever-evolving healthcare landscape, thereby promoting equity, scientific and technological advancements in education.
