World AMR Awareness Week 2025 Digital Event Series

FIP joins the global community in celebrating World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week (WAAW) — a worldwide campaign held annually from 18 to 24 November to raise awareness and enhance understanding of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), while promoting coordinated action to combat the emergence and spread of drug-resistant pathogens.

This year, FIP will host three digital events covering diverse topics, including the use of data in antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) programmes, global perspectives on hospital AMS programmes, and specialisation in communicable diseases.

In addition, FIP is collaborating with the World Health Professions Alliance (WHPA) for a special WAAW digital event highlighting the connections between noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), AMR, and the importance of interprofessional collaboration.
