Using data to optimise the pharmaceutical supply chain

The pharmaceutical supply chain digital event series brings together experts, researchers, and professionals to discuss key challenges and emerging solutions in the management of pharmaceutical supply systems. The series will cover topics such as the use of data to prevent and mitigate the effects of medicine shortages, the application of real-world data to strengthen and secure the pharmaceutical supply chain, and the role of AI and data analytics in optimising pharmaceutical supply chains and pharmacy workflows. Through the various expert presentations and discussions, the series will address current global challenges and provide pertinent recommendations to enhance healthcare and medicine access worldwide. 

Use of real-world data to secure the supply chain- Medicines verification systems

This digital event will focus on the use of Real World Data in securing the pharmaceutical supply chain. It will provide a global overview on initiatives to prevent falsified and fraudulent medicines entering the supply chain. It will examine examples of systems in Developed, Low and Middle Income Countries and also what the future holds e.g. implementation of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) in the USA and developments in other countries.
