Academic Perspectives on AI Series: Practical Examples of Integrating AI into Pharmacy Education

19 March 2026

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming health professions education, yet many pharmacy educators remain uncertain about how to integrate it effectively and responsibly. This session will provide practical, classroom-based examples of how AI can be intentionally incorporated into pharmacy curricula to enhance learning, assessment, and feedback. Drawing from scholarly work and real-world implementation, the session will highlight pedagogically grounded strategies, lessons learned, and evaluation approaches. Participants will leave with adaptable frameworks and actionable ideas to integrate AI into their own teaching while maintaining academic integrity and educational rigor.
