Economic evaluation of pharmaceutical services: opportunities, challenges, and methodological considerations

Assessing the value of innovative and existing pharmaceutical services provided in primary and/or secondary care represents a major challenge to commissioners and decision makers, given the complex nature of these interventions. The evaluation of these services involves a multitude of dimensions that need to be defined to accurately capture the impact of these services on patient outcomes. Thus, the purpose of this webinar is to share the presenters’ experiences in relation to conducting, reporting and reviewing economic evaluations of pharmaceutical services including technology-enabled services.
