Women in Pharmacy: Leadership & Empowerment

13 March 2025

The United Nations’ theme for International Women’s Day 2025 is “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment”. This year’s focus calls for action to unlock equal rights, opportunities, and power for all women, including in healthcare and pharmacy. Achieving this vision requires empowering women as leaders and catalysts for lasting change. FIP, under its EquityRx programme, is marking this important day with a digital event centred on Women in Pharmacy: Leadership & Empowerment. The event will feature women leaders from diverse regions who will share their experiences, challenges, and lessons in leadership. The discussion will highlight strategies to support and empower women to thrive in leadership roles within pharmacy and healthcare.
