The role of pharmacists in the fight against cancer: A people-centred approach to cancer care
This webinar, marking World Cancer Day, highlights the importance of people-centred cancer care and the vital role pharmacists can play in this approach. It will explore how pharmacists can prioritise patients' needs and preferences in oncology care, collaborate within multidisciplinary cancer teams, and contribute to improving access to care, including through task sharing in low- and middle-income countries. Attendees will gain practical insights into how pharmacists can support people with cancer, ensuring a personalised and empathetic approach to care that places the patient at the centre of the treatment process. This event aims to empower pharmacists to make a meaningful impact in cancer care.
