Empowering pharmacists to better support people living with psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic condition that can significantly affect people’s health, wellbeing and quality of life. Pharmacists are well placed to support people living with psoriasis, but this requires an understanding of the condition, its impact on daily life and the challenges people face with treatment. Bringing together dermatology, patient and pharmacy perspectives, this event will explore the importance of early recognition and referral, the challenges and support needs of people living with this condition, and practical approaches pharmacists can use to support appropriate medicine use, address treatment concerns, promote self-management and improve day-to-day care.
