One pharmacy – advancing pharmacy technicians and the pharmacy support workforce

20 October 2026

One pharmacy recognises the importance of education, practice and science and the significant role all members of the pharmacy team play in the delivery of patient care. This Symposium celebrates the contributions of pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support workers, in recognition of World Pharmacy Technician Day, on 20 October. Over two half-days, speakers will share unique initiatives and perspectives, each contributing in their own way to help achieve the collective advancement of education, practice, research and workforce development for pharmacy technicians. Join us to learn about the approaches and strategies they have used to create and promote a strong and impactful pharmacy technician workforce. See how the leadership of individuals, teams and organisations can empower others and positively impact pharmacy services and patient care.
