Advocacy Micro-curriculum Session on Challenges & Emerging Trends in Advocacy

This session in the Advocacy Microcurriculum examines barriers to pharmacy advocacy, including workload, limited training, reimbursement, policy complexity, corporate pressures, fragmented systems, and interprofessional challenges. Participants will also explore emerging trends such as digital advocacy, workforce well-being, expanded scopes of practice, coalition building, and engagement. Building on the foundations introduced in Module 1, the session prepares participants to later explore practical advocacy frameworks, resources, position statements, & policies in future sessions.
